Routes plugin for WordPress: Version 2.2.10 released
Yesterday I was trying to import a GPX file into a WordPress post on a site running my Routes plugin for WordPress. The post had several images that had been inserted using the WordPress media library, and the GPX import failed, without telling me what was going on.
So I added some messages to show on the screen when you save your post, and that led me to understand what the problem was, and I fixed it. So I just released version 2.2.10 of the Routes plugin. Upgrading is advisable.
This is the third update in the last month -- can you tell I'm using the plugin more lately? Anyway, hopefully everyone using the plugin will benefit from these bug fixes.

I also found some software of interest: GPSBabel -- a suite of tools for converting and manipulating GPS files. If you're using Routes with GPS files you've recorded, it's worth checking out. In particular, I found the "simplify" operation to be quite useful for reducing the size of the GPS file, before importing it into Routes.
