We would like to inline skate on this trail and were wondering how smooth it is and if it has long steep hills.
We have no brakes on the skates. Do you think it is skatable?
Hi Jacqueline,
Yes, this trail could be skated, it is very smooth and very beautiful. There is some downhill to it, and so therefore you would have to go back uphill when you are done. I would recommend Yelm to Rainier as the best skating route. Rainier to Tenino is more up and downhill.
